Buying or Leasing Horses

Leasing a Horse

If you buy a horse that can be half leased out, then you (the owner of the horse) will receive the lease amount (TBD) and lessor will pay for half board and training costs.

How a lease works:

  • Owner Pays all of the costs on the horse, including the $400 full training fee to DDHA
  • Lessor pays the owner  the lease fee decided by the owner
  • Horse is cared for by DDHA, and trainers will keep the horse tuned up, as well as exercise him if either the owner or lessor can't make it on their day.
  • Riders have access to Dream Horse Academy horses if their horse is not available.
  • Lease is month-to-month, with 30 days lease cancellation required or the "deposit" is forfeit.

Contact Dream Horse Academy for more information on these purchase/lease programs.
